Farewell Dinner

Two of our church members will be going back to their hometown after spending 3 years in UKM. They had been very helpful and sweet enough to support most of the activities we'd organised. These two ladies are from Sarawak.

We organised a farewell steamboat and korean grill dinner last night.


One of my favourite, crabs. There were also prawns, squids and cuttlefishies.


Of course, lots of vegie, yong-tau-fu, balls and many other yummilicious stuff.

Both of them will become teachers. One of them, HC is the best student of the faculty. All the best to both of you BP and HC.

[inah] hahaha... ingat set makanan tu. Yang boleh grill tu lebih kurang RM120. Yang steamboat je RM90 kot. Ni saiz yg besar, cukup untuk 6 to 8 person. Pakai letrik. Kalo yg pakai gas dapur murah je, tpi kurang selamat.

wah banyak nye menu. ni makan berapa org? not bad gak makan grill ni kan. org kata kalau bakar tak bagus. steamboat bagus gak pasai tak pakai minyak. rasanya famili josh mesti sihat2 kan....

[Bud] it's Korean BBQ, we opted for the non-greasy style, no oil used.

{beruang madu] Memang sedap bang. Josh memang suka seafood but doctor dah nasihat Josh kurangkan jugak. Kawan-kawan yang banyak makan seafood tu. Sedih, kan?

Huaaa...nampak HEALTHY. Mmmmm...sebab tu Chinese food is my favourite kerana soupy2 dan byk bahan2 yg berhasiat. Less oil, more raw ingredients.

Eh? Kenapa BM and Josh tak boleh byk makan seafood?

Pasal seafood, utk BM Josh x tau naper, but for Josh, high cholesterol level. Takleh makan banyak.

Hi Josh! ;-) Ooooo...high cholesterol. Me too, very the high. But ubat tak rajin makan. N main lantak whatever. Hehehe...

Seafood boleh makan Josh, fishes and shellfishes which are oyster, mussels, cockles, scallops, lobster, crab, shrimp, prawn, crawfish, squid, octopus, and cuttlefish are all low in saturated fat which means they r low in cholesterol too.

The cause of high blood cholesterol is in other words not a diet high in cholesterol but a diet high in saturated fats, which the body itself then turns into cholesterol in the blood.

Take care Josh. Eat fish and shellfish, they r delicious and good for you. No offence to anybody but doctors should get their facts str8 b4 advicing patients tentang apa boleh makan dan apa tak boleh makan. Main hembus saja doctor2 skrg ni. Sigh...
