Melaka Trip - The Melaka Zoo
My wife and I went to Melaka on the 2nd Raya. Mr. Wan and family joined in too. My initial plan was to pay a visit to my 2nd brother's family but since Mr. Wan suggested us to visit the Melaka Zoo, we went there after a short lunch at my brother's place.
I must say the Melaka Zoo is much better managed as compared to the Zoo Negara, and more conducive for the animals to stay there. Below are some pictures that I had taken at the zoo. The entrance was adorned with parrots of various colours, shapes and sizes. They were a hit to the children and adults alike.
And there were some primates.
The zebras roam in a vast land.
This is the famous seladang, an endangered species in Malaysia.
The giraffes were amazingly cute and friendly. Somehow they even know how to line themselves according to height, hehe.
The stars of the zoo, the tiger. The crowd swarmed around the enclosure just to have a glimpse of this magnificent animal.
Other animals were otters, eagles, tortoises, pelicans, swans, monkeys, chimps, and many others.
We spent 3 hours there but only sufficient to cover 50% of the zoo. Unfortunately, the zoo close at 6.00pm and we got to leave, heavy heartedly.
More pics coming up. The FUNNY pics of animals.
