In time like this, many would try their best to reduce their expenses and to cut cost. I do. For an instant, we (some colleagues and I) would think of ways to reduce our expenses on food. The result can be exciting, really. One may think that going to a fancy restaurant would cost you more then going to an ordinary nasi campur stall. NOT QUITE!
Here are some of our tips:
Tips 1: Identify restaurants which provide large portion for single order, or offer breakfast/lunch sets. Dine in those restaurants by ordering sets to be shared by few people.
For example, order two sets to be shared by three. We always do this when we go to Pizza Hut, ended up everyone paying a mere RM6.50 for a sumptuous pizza lunch.
Another example, order two lunch sets at Asiari (they serve huge portion for sets) , to be shared by three person, or four, if your appetite is small.
Tips 2: Go for lunch before you get really, really hungry. Because once you get hungry, you tends to order/take more food.
Tips 3: ALWAYS go for lunch with ladies with small appetite. Why??
Erm... you order 2 sets for three person, and you ended up having most of the food while paying equal among three. BERBALOI.. hehehehehehe
For example, last week we went to Asiari, the three ladies ordered 2 sets to be shared. I refused to share because i was hungry and I ordered my own set. In the end, they can't finish theirs, and i got the 'help' them finish up. Hmm.... regretted, should have share with them to save my expenses.. Hahahahahahaha.......
Psst.... if you are a big eater, no one would want to share the food with you.
