Introducing my India mari barber. He speaks minimal Bahasa Malaysia, and can't speak English. My instruction was simple: 'potong, macam itu' while motioning the cutting action and point at a poster of various hair style. He geleng-geleng his head a bit and starts his work.
Tapi kan... tapi kan.... (sambil telan air liur...).. masa dia tengah cukur-cukur dan 'touch-up'... mata dia kejap pandang rambut saya, kejap pandang tv yang tengah ada adengan 'dushuuum! dushuuumm!. Aiyoooo.... wa manyak lisau itu pisau cukur kerat wa punya kapala ooo.... terus Josh sound dia... tersipu-sipu dia kejap, terus siapkan kerja dia.. Phewww.......
After 15 minutes, he took a mirror to show the hair cut and asked "OK?". I nodded.
"Berapa" (hahaha... dah tau harga, tapi tetap nak tanya sebab suka dengar jawapan dia...)
"Lafan Ringket".
The result? Wonderful. I like.
