My sifu, affectionately referred as Mak Mah, is a prominent professor in UKM. Her attitude towards her work and her relationship with her students had strong influence on my attitude towards my work and my students as well. 
She delivered her professorial lecture in style. I got to meet up with her and chat for awhile before I rushed to my office. Congratulations Mak Mah.

A professorial lecture will be given by a professor upon his/her promotion to Professorship, or upon request by the university. For Mak Mah's case, she's been a professor for more then 10 years. So, this time round, it's requested, as she did not deliver hers when she was promoted then.
